These days you can find me leading and heading up digital user experience and creative teams, delivering leading edge digital products and solutions.
Team lead for UX & Design at NewsCorp during the revamp of the entire premium local news network including household names such as The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, Courier Mail, Adelaide Advertiser and NT News as well as a vast range of regional websites for the web and also native apps. We used a range of modern front end design techniques such as atomic design, design thinking, UX research and data, my involvement directly contributed to what has been coveted as the smoothest and best rollout of the network to date.
The Royal Easter Show is one of Sydney's showcase events for the year, our brief was to create a useful experience for users. Working from the ground up, I Successfully created and launched a utility based solution focussed on users needs before, during and after the show, this resulted in an award winning cross platform mobility solution which encompassed digital strategy, user experience design, user interface design and creative direction.

A complete a audit of the existing site was required, resulting in recommendations for the new site, from wireframe to handover of completed design and style guide ready for implementation by the development team. I approached this project from a different angle, working though an atomic design process we proceeded through two separate sites, a mobile only site followed by a desktop to table responsive version.
Wild About Whales is a flagship product for Mobiddiction. The app, which was already an award winner, is used for bringing together the whale watching community throughout New South Wales with sightings data and, new in 2015, a social image gallery. Two distinctly separate versions of the app were created tailored to the specific user platform - iOS or Android.

The interface was a reasonably complex challenge, as it needed to deliver timely video content, brand messages and also used to record and input data throughout a detailed programme. A truely agile and iterative process, several versions of the UI were developed after rigorous testing and feedback.

They also requested best practice and suggested solutions to be implemented without disrupting the current structure to be included in our proposal. I had my team provide all of the design assets necessary, including online style guide, PSD Layouts, notes and instructions for implementation of the new front end across Desktop, Tablet & Mobile layouts.
Help Me Choose, a Division of Mortgage Choice came to us to consult and provide a cutting edge new User Interface for their insurance comparison site. Using experimental new techniques we built responsive wireframes in HTML/CSS, which we iterated on through a number of Agile sprints to arrive at the finished product. My team provided a fully functioning, clean, clear and easy to use front end system and UI Kit & style guide for independent future development.
Gloria Jeans Coffee's come to us looking for concepts, suggestions and finally a finished design for their new website. We put forward a number of concepts and idea's which needed to radiate the feeling of "An authentic coffeehouse". We spent a lot of time living and breathing all thing's coffee, and drinking plenty of it at the same time. Finally working alongside Loaded Technologies in Sydney we provided a full design for the entire site across 3 different breakpoints and a dedicated E-Commerce website.

A valued and loyal client of ours for several years, this was the second iteration of their website which we took great pride in designing and developing. While attempting to keep with modern design trends and keeping things fresh we also tried to give the feeling of a classic, mature product with a lot of heritage.

Our relationship has lasted a number of years now, and we've been though several iterations of the site, and of course several beautiful specialized bicycles for the road and the dirt.
